The Costa del Maresme, located to the north of the province of Barcelona, is known for its long sandy beaches, clean waters and steep cliffs.

Inside Maresme there are many towns with important cultural and architectural sights worth visiting.

The Costa Garraf is on the Garraf massif, which is of great environmental interest. Besides the small Llobregat delta, it takes in the sandy beaches to the south of Barcelona, where tourists come to enjoy the beautiful setting. Of particular note is Sitges, one of the most visited towns in Catalonia, with its long tradition of arts and crafts. Vilanova i la Geltrú is also a popular destination. You can go boating, sailing and fishing in this important port, and be sure to try the sumptuous food.

The mild Mediterranean climate makes these coasts pleasant places to visit year round.
